ICT 10 Reflection 2nd Quarter
In the second quarter of my ICT course, we delved into the fundamentals of HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) – a cornerstone language for creating web pages. HTML serves as the backbone of the internet, allowing us to structure and format content for the web.
Learning HTML has been an eye-opening experience as it has provided me with a deeper understanding of how websites are created and organized. Through hands-on practice, I gained proficiency in writing HTML code to design and structure web pages effectively.
One of the key takeaways from studying HTML is its simplicity yet powerful functionality. The markup tags used in HTML are intuitive and easy to grasp, making it accessible for beginners. Moreover, learning about the semantic markup in HTML has highlighted the significance of creating accessible and SEO-friendly web content. By using tags such as <html>, <body>, <i>, and <p>, we can provide meaningful structure to our web pages, improving usability and search engine visibility.
